About Anne

For people serious about growth and clarity.

Hello, I’m Anne O’Connor. I partner with people who are serious about becoming who they want to be in their relationships, their work, and in their bodies, minds, and hearts.

Group work is my primary way of helping people make real change. When groups are well-designed and skillfully facilitated, they offer what most of us need in order to grow: clear expectations, practical tools, honest reflection, supportive community, and enough time to practice what we’re learning until it becomes real.

My work is long-term by design. We plan for months together, not an afternoon or four. I expect clients to work hard, invest the resources required, and take this work seriously. In return, they gain clarity, steadiness, and the ability to navigate life with more maturity and skill—without sacrificing their health or their relationships.

My background includes more than 20 years in communications and self-development, a Master of Social Work focused on clinical therapy and group work, and licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota. I’ve led teams and communications as a director at Organic Valley, coached leaders at many levels, and worked as a newspaper reporter, national magazine writer, published author, and radio-show co-host. I’ve interviewed thousands of people, and every conversation has shaped my respect for what it means to be human. I’ve also designed and facilitated hundreds of groups over more than a decade. This work continues to deepen for me and for the people I serve.
